Minute Licks #1: 2 string sequence

This is a 2-string descending line in C major. My picking choices (see tablature below) are based on the system behind The Yng Way. Each group of four 16th notes are played with three picked notes and one legato note. The picking for each of these beats alternates between DOWN-UP-DOWN and UP-DOWN-UP.


You can also go with all picked notes in an alternate picking fashion if you wanted a more staccato approach (I have done this in the past too for effect). These days I personally opt for a wider dynamic range by having some slurred and picked notes in there whilst still maintaining a rather "metrononic" timing feel. 


I'm tuned down a 1/2 step in this example. Enjoy.
